Lloyd spent 11 years serving in the U.S. Marine Corps, the final 4 as a Drill Instructor on Parris Island, South Carolina.

School brought him to Arizona but he immediately fell in love with it and decided to make Surprise his home. As the owner of Top Rocker Tattoo, Lloyd spends his days yelling and beating all the artists to boost morale. Even though this takes up the majority of his time he will take a moment to give you a piercing if you ask nicely. He attended Fakir Musafar's Basic Body Intensive Piercing Course in San Francisco and is capable of piercing most anything you ask. Stop in and see him today!!

Dany was born & raised in Arizona by a rabid pack of coyotes. He has had a love for art as far back as he could remember, but he is getting old so his memory doesn't go back very far. Some time in his two year high school career his passion in life became drawing.

Dany continued perfecting his art as time passed until an opportunity presented itself after moving to Virginia with his family in 2006. His brother knew Dany could draw so he bought Dan a tattoo machine and let him got to town. Dany admits he really didn't know what he was doing but if you look at his portfolio, you can see he has natural talent. In 2008 Dan and his family moved back to Arizona and soon met up with Lloyd and joined the Top Rocker family. He specializes in fine detailed art and has some of the cleanest lines around! Stop by and check out his photos and you won't be disappointed.

Joe grew up in Flagstaff, AZ then got ran out of town after his village got a new idiot. When no other village would take him in he joined the U.S. Marine Corps serving his country proudly for 13 years.

He started at Top Rocker finishing his apprenticeship from another shop. Becoming an artist in July of 09, Joe started tattooing nautical stars, kanji and...tribal. "There's nothing like spending HOURS making tight little circles of blackness.....and I do stress HOURS!!!!

In Joe's spare time, if he's not drawing, painting or finishing his BFA in graphic design, Joe's running around the shop, amped up on Redline, ticking off Kris, or driving Dany nutz by completely contradicting everything Dany says.

This is Kirks Awesome Bio...

This is another paragraph of Kirks awesomeness!

Kris has been drawing since he was able to hold a crayon. He grew up in Chicago and moved out to Arizona to attend Grand Canyon University, where he drove the faculty crazy with all his tattoos and his wild attitude.

He managed to somehow graduate with a Bachelors Degree in Studio Art, as well as completeing his apprenticeship while in school. After college, he moved back to Chicago where he did almost every job you can think of. After being denied a job at Disney for "not being able to draw," he realized the only thing he could do is tattoo. He met Lloyd and moved back to Arizona to work full time at Top Rocker Tattoo. You can hear Kris quoting movie lines any time you are in the shop. He is a huge Bears fan and an avid Air Jordan shoe collector. He enjoys doing colorful tattoos, and pin-ups, and anything you can throw at him. Kris loves money, he has a little, he keeps it in a jar on top of his refrigerator. He would like to put more in that jar, thats where you come in! Stop in and shoot some ideas around with him, and you can definately get what you are looking for.

Cecilia is an Arizona native who graduated from ASU with honors, receiving a BFA in Painting in 2006. She's currently one of Top Rocker's loyal apprentices forced to work at gun point. When Cecilia's not cleaning or assisting the artists, you might find her drawing creepy faces on mannequins, cutting her bangs, or painting potatoes......her favorite food!

Christine is a native New Yorker who recieved her Bachelors of Fine Arts in 2002. Studying every medium from drawing and painting to glass blowing and metal casting, she now has a desire to clean the shop and run errands for the guys. Since she is so good at it, Kris decided to teach her how to tattoo. Specializing in portraits, Christine is working to translate her training of fine art to permanence in skin.
